The goal to eradicate the poliovirus to some may seem like an intangible one. However, there are ways that we can come together to combat this disease. There are extremists on both sides to the situation. On one hand people say that the vaccine carries even more harmful diseases and the others saying that in order to eradicate the disease we need to take away the rights of human beings and force everyone to get a vaccine. If we properly inform everyone on the dangers of the poliovirus versus the vaccine itself, most certainly, more people would get the vaccine.
