Practice Opening—Aquarela

It’s impossible to eradicate Polio if we don’t work on other issues that indirectly affect its spread in Nigeria. Nigeria has the largest extreme poverty population. More than 89 people are living below the poverty line. Although the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals focus on no poverty in Nigeria, there is no visible improvement. The country is known by its government’s corruption, which doesn’t help Nigerian people trust their officials. Education is another problem that has to be solved in order to facilitate vaccine’s application. Even in the most educated countries, some people don’t believe the prevention that vaccines provide, and in Nigeria one-third of children are never enrolled in school. Ending Polio through vaccines is not a reasonable expectation before finding a solution for all these problems.
